Project – Data Science – Part 2

The subject of the study is again life expectancy in the world. In the first part, we studied the question of life expectancy with a single factor which is the level of education of the country.

In this second part, we deepened the study by adding to the previous analyses: a regression model with 4 explanatory variables (HIV/AIDS, alcohol consumption per capita in liters of pure alcohol, polio vaccination rate among children, the rate of thinness among children/adolescents) and a prediction model with a decision tree.

The question was as follows: Is country of birth a determinant of an individual’s life expectancy?

Again, the conclusion is clear, the country – where we are born and live – does determine our life expectancy.
